Dr gatrad ir a very careing person and I trust him 100% with my sons care. He has always been polite and he listens to you he has a good manor with children. He is one of the best doctors we have seen he is brilliant at his job. He has helped my son with his epilepsy and any other problems we have he is a great man.

My two year old son has been under Prof. Gatrad's care for the last year, and during that time his issue has been thoroughly investigated. From the start Prof. Gatrad made us all feel at ease, was attentive with our son and willing to listen to all our worries in a caring and receptive manner. Any worries with children make it an emotive time for parents, and to be dealt with in such a professional and efficient manner was a great help. Our son has now been discharged, but i would not hesitate to sing the praises of Prof. Gatrad and recommend this gentleman to any parents.

Prof Gatrad has seen all 3 of my sons for different reasons. My eldest son (then 15) was diagnosed with diabetes. At the time we didn't know this and if Prof Gatrad had not acted so quickly, he would have been in a coma. My twins had to be seen by him for suspected heart murmurs (then 12). Prof Gatrad is fantastic with the children, he always talks very gently to them, which puts them at ease immediately and is keen to hear what the children have to say in response to their problems. I personally find him very easy to talk to, he expains everything very thoroughly and makes it known that if there are ever any problems that he could be contacted to discuss the matter with him. We, as a family, owe a great deal to Prof Gatrad and would always recommend him to any family who has worries about a child.

Prof Gatrad has cared for my daughter for the last 7 years since she was a baby. He has always been polite, approachable and fully trustworthy. Children are always aprehensive when visiting a hospital and Prof Gatrad has always made our visit easy by spending time with her beforhand to put her mind at rest. This extra time has build our confidence in his ability and I feel that the relationship he has built has made her confident in hospitals and unafraid of the medical profession. I am truly greatful of that.

I am 12 years of age and I have seen Prof. Gatrad for a few times now. He listens to me well and has helped me through a very tricky period of my life. He understands your problems. He is witty aswell. Prof. Gatrad has helped me through a tricky period of my life and I am very grateful.
